Vocal Workshops
Audrey presents vocal workshops and master classes at numerous venues, including schools and universities throughout the country, often in conjunction with her concert appearances.
Audrey Shakir’s Studio is for private lessons, where students learn to enhance song interpretation and understand scatting. She imparts performance skills and music selection tips to students of all ages and stresses the importance of believing in the material the performer presents to an audience.
Audrey Shakir has performing experience that will be invaluable to her students. She has performed internationally – from Brazil to Canada and all over the United States to China - and in settings that range from herself alone to orchestras. She knows what it takes to be all one can be and wants to guide students to achieve their musical goals. The First Meeting is a way to assess the talents and opportunities of the new student and determine what direction to take to grow in this business. Scheduling will be agreed upon between Audrey and the student.
